Earth’s Spiritual Government

The spiritual government of Earth is unlike that of any other world in the local universe.  The uniqueness of the plan for governing Earth is due to a number of unusual circumstances that occurred on the planet.  These events include:

            Using Earth as a life experimentation planet

            The planetary quarantine occasioned by the Lucifer rebellion

            The minimal biological up stepping of the races caused by

            the default of Adam and Eve

            The benefits of having a local universe creator incarnate on

            this planet

            Oversight by former earth mortals (many prophets and apostles)

            The honor of having an archangel communications circuit

             installed on this planet

            The designation of Machiventa Melchizedek as Earth’s       

             vicegerent planetary ruler.

Ideal Statehood

The evolution of an ideal state corresponds to the evolution of its citizens through the seven cosmic circles.  Achievement of ideal statehood necessitates progress from level to level requiring:

Creation of a threefold government of executive, legislative, and judicial branches

Freedom of social, political, and religious activities

Abolition of all forms of slavery and human bondage

Ability of the citizenry to control the levying of taxes

Establishment of universal education, extending learning from the cradle to the grave

Proper adjustment between local and national governments

Fostering of science and the conquest of disease

Due recognition of sex equality and the coordinated functioning of men and women in the home, school, and church, with specialized service of women in industry and government

Elimination of toiling slavery by machine invention and the subsequent mastery of the machine age

Conquest of dialects and the triumph of a universal language

Ending of war through the international adjudication of national and racial differences by continental courts and world courts

Worldwide pursuit of wisdom encouraged by the exaltation of 

philosophy.

Earth is far from the realization of these exalted ideals, but the civilized races have made a beginning.  Mankind is pressing forward toward higher evolutionary destinies.

The Need for World Political Reform

The objective of political work in the world should be the development of a plan for international economic synthesis.  The plan would include abolishing old national political parties and trade relations to establish a spirit of international dependence.  Nations must understand that isolation and national egoism are ruinous to world peace.

National patriotism colored by the feeling of superiority, class hatreds, and racial antagonisms, constitute barriers to the proper development of humanity.   People must learn that the continuing desire to increase possessions and material wealth is a deterrent to real expansion.  True development will occur only when a brotherhood of nations based on mutual need, mutual understanding, and mutual helpfulness comes into being.

On earth today, racial hatreds and national aspirations are strong, and the ignorance of the masses is great.  It will be necessary to destroy much of the world’s political structure before nations will become sensitive to the new vision and recognize their need for one another.

The world has already tried many constructive ideas.  For example, the idea of beneficently applied power materialized in the form of a dictatorship of the working classes as set up in the former Soviet Union.  However, while the new dictators glorified work and the workers, they drove some of the best elements out of the country, through death or exile.  Yet, behind all of the mistakes, cruelty, and the rank materialism, there were great ideals such as supplying the needs of all, the beauty of mutual service, and the divinity of constructive work.

Germany had a dictatorship of racial superiority.  Without real understanding, one race attempted to dictate conditions to other races. Yet, the ideal of a superman is a true ideal.  The superman is the goal for all.  The superman emerges out of the ranks of every people to find his way into the ranks of spiritual leadership.

In the United States, the dictatorship of organized business seeks to regulate and control every section of the economic life of the nation.  Through campaign funding, this dictatorship slices down through highly capable people in the government threatening the nation’s existence. 

Still, while this maybe regarded as an infringement upon the liberty of the individual, this is of small importance compared to the gradually emerging synthesis, which aims to kill greed and end the exploitation of the many by the few. 

Great Britain had a dictatorship of empire.  The instigators of the national movements were unaware of the impulses that lay behind their work. They would be unable to explain the ideals toward which they were working except in terms of human ambition and power.  Nevertheless, unknown to themselves, they were sensitive to the great ideas thrown into their minds by the Minds behind the scenes. 

Because there is no general knowledge as to the source of the great concepts, and no understanding of the Constellation Rulers who are guiding humanity towards brotherhood, the great principles of brotherhood are being widely distorted and selfishly applied.  Lacking greater understanding, the flames of class hatreds, of racial antagonisms, and of national pride continue to blaze.

Governing

The faculty of governing is the outstanding characteristic revealed by Great Britain. 

The function of the English experiment in empire building was to produce the first tentative grouping of federated nations, and to demonstrate the possibility of such a grouping. 

The United States is doing a similar experiment by fusing the nationals of many nations into one federated state with subsidiary states rather than subsidiary nations. 

The objective of these experiments in governing is to give the planet a system of groupings within one world empire evolving gradually into nations without borders.

World Problems and Opportunities

The scientists produced in the last hundred years reveals the influence of the adjutant mind spirits in solving world problems.  Unfortunately, the tendencies of a money-oriented age demean much of their work.  In addition, many scientific discoveries in the realm of energy have been adapted to ends that serve man's hatreds, but this does not diminish the wonder of the achievements.

Discipline of Rhythm

The soul controls its instrument, the personality, through ritual, or the imposition of a regular rhythm.  Rhythm is what routine or ritual is.  The discipline spiritual seekers gain in imposing a rhythm on their lives leads to a pleasant and satisfied feeling. 

Church, military, or business groups conduct various rhythmic rituals.  One cannot avoid ritual or ceremony.  The rising and the setting of the sun, scheduled arrivals and departures of all forms of transportation impose a rhythm upon humanity.  Ceremonial living is followed unconsciously.  It is the rhythmic breathing of life.  Instinctive rituals and rhythmic impulses drive every anthill and beehive.  Even Deity is subject to the rituals of the universe. 

Growth of Group Life

The growing discipline of social relations, social responsibility, and the developing sense of internationalism, religious unity, and of economic interdependence are all indications of the energies of soul life upon and within the human family. 

Two sets of principles control human life.  They manifest as the selfish individual good and the unselfish group good, material incentives versus spiritual impulses.

The opposing dualities place personalities against souls.  A balancing of the two principles will gradually take place with world idealism gradually shifting into soul unification.

Cosmic Laws

There are three fundamental laws in the cosmos.  These are the Law of Synthesis,

the Law of Attraction and Repulsion, and the Law of Economy.

The Law of Synthesis demonstrates unity - the fact that all things both abstract and concrete exist as one.  The Law of Synthesis governs the thought form of the Supreme Being in Whose consciousness humans play a part.  Our local universe is a unit in the thought of the Supreme Being.

The Law of Attraction and Repulsion is a paradigm of the law of Paradise gravity. It describes the compelling force of attraction that holds the solar system in its orbit and keeps the planets revolving around the sun.  It also holds the lesser systems of atomic and molecular matter circulating around their centers.

The Law of Economy adjusts everything that relates to the material and spiritual evolution of the universe to the best possible advantage of all with the least expenditure of force. The Law of Economy perfects each atom of time, and each eternal period.  The Law of Economy carries everything upward and inward with the least effort, with properly adjusted equilibrium, and with the necessary rate of rhythm.  (The apparent unevenness of rhythm is an illusion of time.)

The three cosmic laws demonstrate the threefold scheme of the Trinity. The laws keep implementing in creation through constant repetition of microcosm to macrocosm.

The same system of form, time, and motion occur throughout the universe.  Scales of periodicity based upon the three cosmic laws enable predictions of occurrences and events on different universe levels.

Law Enforcement, Mercy, and Justice

Mercy is justice tempered by wisdom that recognizes the natural weaknesses and environmental handicaps of finite creatures.  What mercy cannot rehabilitate, justice will annihilate.  Those who wish for mercy must show mercy.  Love obviates the need for law.

Global Liberty and Law

Liberty-loving mortals cannot live together in peace without submitting to the laws, rules, and regulations that grant all persons the same degree of freedom as themselves. Freedom relies on law and the enforcement of law.

Religion makes it spiritually possible to realize the brotherhood of men, but the governments of mankind must regulate the social, economic, and political problems associated with the brotherhood goals of human happiness and efficiency.

Nations will continue to fight wars until humanity creates a government of all mankind.

England, Scotland, and Wales fought endless wars until they gave up their individual sovereignties, placing them in the United Kingdom.

Similarly, the fifty American states co-exist peacefully. All of the various warring nationalities, races, and religions of the world are among the citizens of the United States. This is possible because the fifty states have surrendered their sovereignty and have abandoned the rights of self-determination.

World government will establish and enforce world law.  With a global government, local governments handle local affairs; national governments, national affairs; and global government, international affairs.

With the global regulation of money and trade will come an era of worldwide peace. Soon a global language will evolve, and there will be hope of sometime having religions with a global viewpoint.

There is no other way to realize peace on earth and good will among men.
