Part V -
Sonship
Wisdom is a spiritual
flower. The topics covered in Part V are the fragrances of spiritual flowers.
A man must not be dead to beauty. He must learn to find that which is applicable to all worlds amidst
earthly conditions.
While
man may ponder the essences of being, energy, and evolution, he cannot alter them. They
are measured by their infinite manifestation in time and space.
The essence of existence proclaims that in creation everything has
continuity up to and into the beauty of Infinity.
Every action
of a man contains its own essence. The quality of the action determines the quality of manifestation in reality. Creativeness
and the direction of the action are contained in a man’s thought.
When a man rejoices
at flowers and values their fresh fragrance, he has already contacted the subtle abstract world. In the flowers of Earth,
in the plumage of birds, and in the wonders of wisdom, man can find the joy that prepares him for the wonders of heaven.
Good is a pleasant
fragrance. Evil is a poisonous stench. The transmutation of energy into
fragrance is
a fact. When the fragrance of a rose is evident, one can presume the nearness of the physical and the subtle energy of the
source. Contrarily, the smell of decay accompanies everything low on the physical and on the spiritual plane as well. Smell
is one of the most intimate identifications for everything that draws near.
Wafting to man is the message of a new religion of the pure spirit
to humanity. It will reveal to the world the teaching of Jesus.
